About Kjirstin Breure

Early Life

As a young woman, Kjirstin Breure attended school in the United States of America. She earned an MS in Materials Science and Engineering and a BSc in Political Science from Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Career

After finishing graduate school, Kjirstin held leadership positions in Canadian startup companies, including Theorem Synthetic Intelligence, Omada Technologies, and Macht10. Her experiences in these roles helped build her knowledge of emerging technologies such as machine learning, data analytics, and blockchain.

In 2020, Kjirstin was hired as the first employee and Chief Operating Officer of HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. During this time, she helped manage the company’s strategic direction and advancement of graphene production. As of 2025, she now operates as HydroGraph’s President, Board Chair, and Chief Executive Officer, managing production, research and development, intellectual property, and media.

Achievements

  • Holds a BSc and MS from Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning a spot on the Dean’s List 
  • Former COO of Omada Technologies (2020 to 2021) 
  • Currently serves as the President, Board Chair & CEO of HydroGraph Clean Power, a company specializing in the production of high-purity graphene using a patented detonation process
  • Actively promotes the use of graphene as a sustainable material in various industries, emphasizing its potential to reduce environmental impact.
